Description:From skills learned in his father's blacksmith shop, Frank Kurtis built his own Midget car chassis during this time, then rose to become a major Midget builder, producing more than 1, cars and kits, all of them Midgets designed for the small, 97 CID Offenhauser inline 4-cylinder engine, cars that dominated Midget racing for decades.
