Description:We are are located in the center of these major cities, 32 miles east of Charlotte, 13 miles west Albemarle, 22 miles north of Monroe, 22 miles south of twin cities Concord - Kannapolis, 24 miles northwest of Wadesboro just off NC on Hwy between Red Cross and Big Lick at Oakboro, NC. Don't miss it, come and enjoy our southern hospitality and this wonderful setting along with all the antiques and collectibles. This semi-annual show on a beautiful 45 acre farm will feature quality antiques and collectibles from plus dealers from Maine to Florida with a wide variety including 18 Th to 20Th century furniture, primitives, vintage tools, toys, clothing, linens, quilts, gas pumps. Mammoths are believed to have been drawn to this location by a salt lick deposited around sulphur springs. A small bison herd is also maintained on-site. The park features several nature trails, including a Discovery Trail that includes a boardwalk around a marsh bog diorama with recreations of a woolly mammoth , a mastodon , a ground sloth , bison , and scavengers feeding on carcasses and skeletal remains. The area near the springs was very soft and marshy causing many animals to become stuck with no way to escape.
