Clit 45 was a Streetpunk/Hardcore-band from Long Beach, California that formed in . Five years later and following the commercial failure of Jersey Girl, Smith.
Description:The album featured more of a punk sound closer to that of Barrs former band, The Bruisers. Street punks generally have a more ostentatious and flamboyant appearance than the working class or skinhead image cultivated by many Oi. Their first official show was on November 11, at Joey Kills Bar in Burbank, in , the band released their initial eponymous album on the newly formed label, Epitaph Records, which was and continues to be managed and owned by Gurewitz. Bad Religion returned to a mellower, rock and roll version of their original sound with the Back to the Known EP. We apologize to anyone who was a fan of Mike as our singer, however contrary to popular rumor, Mike left the band because he is no longer interested in being a member of this band or the movement of which we are a part.
